This is the last issue of the IPS Newsletter for this year. We thank all our members for their participation in IPS activities this year and for keeping our society alive. Christmas Palms

Christmas, celebrated by Christians and many non-religious persons, and its traditions have evolved over hundreds of years. One of the iconic symbols is the Christmas tree, which has become very popular worldwide in recent years. The Christmas tree industry offers usually two options: natural trees, usually a conifer, Abies balsamea or other species, which is thrown away after the season, or a plastic tree, which in many cases is also discarded after a few seasons.
